About Live Oak Counseling
Live Oak Counseling Center offers psychotherapy, support, education, and guidance to individuals and families in the midlands of South Carolina. We are located in the Shandon neighborhood on the corner of King and Blossom streets at 600 King Street.
The live oak that shades our center keeps us mindful that trees are symbols of physical and spiritual nourishment, transformation, sustenance and spiritual growth.
Operating since 1991, the center is a nonprofit service supported by client fees, local congregations, and individual donations.
Our mission is to provide professional and affordable mental health counseling and outreach services for persons struggling with life issues and to offer opportunities for spiritual growth and wellness.
